"Each year the Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors is privileged to choose one individual to receive a special award.  The Chairman’s Choice Award is given to an individual who…

… Has assumed a significant leadership role in at least one Chamber Activity during the Year;

… Has worked cooperatively with team members to accomplish the extraordinary;

… made a major difference in the Chamber’s ability to successfully carry on its Program of Work;

… and has served as a role model for other Chamber member volunteers.

This year’s Chairman’s Choice Award is going to an individual who consistently stepped forward to assist the Chamber in community projects and events.  This individual has worked with our staff members on an almost daily basis; he’s even explained the rules of Golf to the ladies before our tournaments.  He’s the go-to-guy for anything the staff needs and is quick to promote all of our events.  This year alone he’s secured event sponsorships, table sales and silent auction items and inspired others to get involved with our organization. 

He is a member of the Convention and Visitors Bureau Board, a member of the Appraisal Review Board, sits on the Corpus Christi Charter Review Committee and is Chairman of the Wednesday Morning Group.
