2008 Outstanding Northside/Calallen/Annaville Business of the Year

Our Northside/Calallen/Annaville business of the year first opened the doors of their tiny initial location in 1989.  The two owners worked tirelessly to create their homemade dishes daily with an authentic Mexican food and pastries theme.  While struggling to make their business vision work, one of the owners also held a full time job as a US Postal Worker. 

Over the years, this company has grown their number of employees, moved to a much larger location which even features dine in seating, and attracted customers from in and around the entire Northwest Corpus Christi Area.  They are active members of the community, sponsoring multiple school and sporting events.

Our 2008 Northside/Calallen/Annaville Business of the Year is… Sylvia’s Pastries.
